I am a wedding hair specialist, I was recently a finalist in the the Essex wedding awards for "Hair stylist of the year." 

There's no denying it, I love everything to do with wedding hair and absolutely love my job.

That’s me, I’m passionate, pride myself on my work and work to the highest standard to achieve any desired look.

I haven’t always been a bridal hair specialist. I started hairdressing at the age of 14, working in a local salon near to where I live. That soon changed as I was destined to work in the West End where it was lights camera action.

I absolutely loved my time there, I worked on photos shoots, backstage on big hairdressing events, assisting on television shows such as Britain’s next top model, and seminars at The Excel.

I then moved a little closer to home as I wanted to be in a more salon environment, and joined an award winning hair salon.

This where I became a busy senior stylist and I was entered into the Essex Salon Awards where I was a finalist for ‘Colourist of The Year’ and ‘Future Talent’.

This allowed me to gain extensive knowledge with many different hair types, meaning that I could not only work with different types of hair, but pass my knowledge on to my clients so they could maintain their hair at home, or my brides before their big day.

My passion grew and I loved the whole buzz of the brides and bridal parties coming into the salon. I would watch and admire my fellow colleagues, until one day after some intense training and practise, I was asked to help, And that’s where I fell in love.

I have been lucky enough to be part of so many special days and even lucky enough to have traveled abroad doing what I love.

It’s an absolute honor to be part of such a special day.
